If I do end up moving, of course.

All it needs is a bed cap. Should be good to drive 3000 kilometres, right?

Not if I snatch this one up first... Have been keeping my eye out for a cheap used truck but reliability is something I’ve wondered about. And the prices some people ask for their 2011 Tacos with over 100k makes leasing a new one look like a good option.

Try to find cheap panel van. You could sell it for what you bought it for, and use that for down payment. It also fit way more stuff then cap on a bed, or this truck.

This !
I recommend the Ford E-series over the Chevy/GMC vans. E-series has more knee room and better seats. the Chevy/GMC has a better powerband though if you’re into that kind of stuff, but the Ford is the trip friendly option.

Dude. If the frame isn’t rusty, that’s a really good deal. I don’t even know what that would be worth over here, probably twice that at least.

Do it. Don’t take the “My First Child Predator” starter kit advice and get a panel van. This will be useful in more situations than just moving and trolling by playgrounds. It will make a great winter vehicle.

I bought my sr5 with 300,000km.. and put another 100,000 on it myself.. that one will be good for 3000km.. It also moved me and all of my belongings back and forth across the western provinces a handful of times..

An old, high-mileage truck with unknown reliability. What could go wrong?
